Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are the principal management tool for driving quality improvements throughout the organisation.
ISO 9001
CVI Melles Griot Leicester maintains systems which conform strictly to the requirements of ISO 9001-2000. Compliance is assured through regular internal audits in addition to the external audits carried out on behalf of ISO.
Quality Plans
For each customer order, a quality plan is created, which defines each step of the production process, as well as the test and documentation requirements. This ensures that customer requirements are met or even exceeded for each item produced by CVI Melles Griot .
Acceptance test procedures
These are defined in the quality plan and include physical checks on dimensions, Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) measurements, durability tests and spectral measurements. Quality data is stored for 5 years after delivery to ensure full traceability.
